The sky is the limit when it comes to beverage innovation, so long as consumers continue to trust the claims made by manufacturers, according to an interesting tha happened during the FiE show in Paris. Datamonitor analyst Piers Berzai identified four mega trends that are likely to drive innovation in beverage formulation over the next few years. Hassia Verpackungsmaschinen of Germany said its Polyflex 8/48 processes polypropylene, as a single-layer or multilayer film depending on the product.
